The room was very clean the fragrant of clean as you walk in. Hot water all through a shower. The king size bed was comfortable. It has a microwave, coffee, small fridge , tv and wifi.. good little place for the price.
So glad we picked A-OK Motel. We didn’t want to pay the crazy high prices at the casino or newer hotels closer to the casinos, so, we opted for the short drive out to AOK because of the good reviews. Staff was courteous. Room was clean. Fresh clean bleached sheets!! Working TV, fridge and microwave!! Freezing cold AC shortly after we turned it on when we got there. Absolutely NO “old motel” smells. Had a door connecting to the next room which would be great for traveling families. Hot water not as hot as I like but by no means a cold shower. May not be a “5 Star” hotel, but I think it deserves all 5 of my stars ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐
I've stayed here for 3 nights without a reservation.the management went above and beyond to make my grandson and I feel at home. When I'm in the area again I will stay here. I did arrive at 3:00 in the morning and the owner asked if I would like a late check out. I encourage anyone that doesn't have to be at a high class hotel to stay here. No this isn't a 3-5 star hotel as far as looks but as far as helping out with late check out this is a great place to stay. The people are very friendly. Give them a try. Don't expect a 5 star because you will not pay a 5 star rate.
The owners are so friendly and helpful. Hard working family , makes the stay very comforting. And they accepted my dog a super A plus for that. Clean and nice for the price.
Man, arrived late at night, no reservations, with 3 people, reasonable rate, they gave us the huge room. We woke the guy out of a dead sleep and he was super friendly, helped us park the trailer. Way more than we expected given the circumstances.
Older motel but not too bad it’s clean and the beds are very comfortable!

We use there laundry mat when necessary. It is always clean and very seldom any machine not working.
You have to rate the motel by what it is. this is a much older style motel. park outside your door. Its not a luxury accommodation. we stayed here as the price was decent, and it was where we were at that evening. Just didn't feel like driving over to Gainesville or farther. Room was clean for the most part. Newer hard surface floor in good shape, I'm sure replaced carpet. Many other items are dated and show years of use - but clean. The reason I knocked it down was the coffee pot had old coffee in it. I cleaned it myself (as I was doing anyway because it always seems safer to do it even when looking clean)
We had a great stay here with my family. Rooms are okay and quite spacious. Staff are also accommodating to our needs and reasonable price for rooms.
